I just added this to my library. I am not the author of any of the content. It’s a curation of three valuable resources, regarding the Fly River Turtle, or Pig Nosed Turtle.
The first section is the “best guess” on captive care of these turtles. Section two is the conservation and biology of these turtles and the third section is a publication from Rotterdam Aquarium that describes what they learned in the happenstance breeding of the turtles in their care. Turns out, the eggs have to submerge per the natural monsoon tides in order to hatch. Who’d have thunk it?
